

Clifford George Snyder, 70, of Red Feather Lakes, CO passed away suddenly early Sunday morning, Aug. 19, 2018 from a massive heart attack. Cliff was born in Fort Collins, Colorado to his parents, George Emil and Myrtle June Snyder. He spent his childhood in Fort Collins, Colorado. He graduated high school in 1966 from Poudre High School and went on to obtain an associate’s degree in Biology. After which, he began a 35 year career with the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Cliff also served faithfully as a Pastor in Pueblo, Colorado for nine years and took 8 missionary trips to Ethiopia. In his down time, he was a wood wright, an avid hunter, and an outdoorsman. His most cherished possession was his Bible. He greatly valued his relationships and the one he treasured the most was his walk with God. Those who cherished him most called him Brother, Babe, Dad, and Papa. He was known for his kindness, generosity, humility, and joyful spirit. He loved God with all of his heart, soul, and strength. He blessed those around him with unconditional love and brought out the best in them. One of his greatest joys was getting to live in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. He lived and shared life with family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Cliff is preceded in death by his father George Emil Snyder and his mother Myrtle June Snyder. He is survived by the love of his life and partner in crime, Mary Snyder, his brother David (Fran) Snyder, seven children; Dani (Martin) Bassett of Ault, Melonie Schleich of Wellington, Jeremy (Katrina) Wilhelm of North Carolina, Julie (Jason) Frantz of Ohio, Josh (Ashley) Wilhelm of Arizona, George Snyder of Pueblo, and Leah (Kevin) Murphy of Fort Hood, Texas and 12 amazing grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Poudre Canyon Chapel (33685 Poudre Canyon Rd.) at 1:00 pm on Sunday August 26, 2018.
Following the services there will be a finger food potluck at the Poudre Canyon Firehouse hall, which is adjacent to the church.
