Clyde Eugene Babcock died on August 24, 2011 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood. He was born on March 1, 1933 in Crookston, NE, to Clyde F. and Anna B. (Hoehne) Babcock. Clyde graduated from Boulder High School in 1951. He joined the Navy in 1952 and served in the Korean Conflict. On January 5, 1957, he married Martha Ravenscraft in Boulder. He owned and operated Babcock Auto Seat Covers in Boulder. Clyde and Martha lived in Boulder and Las Vegas, before moving to Loveland in 1999.
He was a lifetime member of the Elks in Boulder and enjoyed his time spent as an aide for the Thompson R2-J School District on the school buses.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dick. He is survived by his wife, Martha; four daughters, Pamela Babcock (Larry Milbourn), Patricia Graham (Bob), Kate Moore (Mike) and May Benanti (Frank); five grandchildren and four beloved nieces, one nephew and their families.
