

Eileen Patricia Collomb, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Born on July 9, 1937, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Eileen grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. She later moved to Lutherville, Maryland, where she raised her family before retiring to St. Augustine, Florida. In her final years, she lived in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Eileen is survived by her children, Charles (wife Linda), Renee (husband James), and Thomas, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Garrett, Cooper, Owen, Zoe, Eric, and Hannah. She is also mourned by her brothers, Robert Harrington (wife Lynn) and John Harrington (wife Kiki), along with several nieces, including Mary Ellen and Kathi Ann Manchester, and nephews.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Kathleen Harrington, her sister Kathleen Manchester, her brother-in-law Russel Manchester, her brother Charles Harrington, and several beloved aunts and uncles.
Eileen's teaching career spanned several decades, beginning in Massachusetts, then Germany, Spain, and Baltimore City before culminating in her retirement from Baltimore County Schools. She was passionate about education and made a lasting impact on many students. Outside of the classroom, Eileen was an avid runner and aerobics instructor. She was also a prolific golfer, a passion she carried into her retirement years, where she volunteered at her local Catholic church and nursing homes. Eileen was an active member of both her golf club and her HOA association.
Eileen had a deep love for science, learning, and music. Her curious nature and participation in her community were evident in all she did.
Her kindness, spirit, and devotion to her family and community will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Eileen’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the lessons she shared, and the joy she spread to others.
