Jessie was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 1, 1925 to Henry “Hank” and Blanch Wright. Jessie married Arthur S. Karns on March 14, 1950, they had seven children, Robert C. Mudge Sr., Craig J. Karns, Debra S. (Karns) Guerrero, Kirk R. Karns, Richard J. Karns, Henry C. Karns and Todd A. Karns. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a few great great-grandchildren.
She became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1964 and continued active until her death by writing letters to individuals in the areas that private house to house activity is not allowed. Jessie was a homemaker and she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, embroidery and reading.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness with Larry Johnson officiating. She was loved by all that knew her.
