Julia G Cardona passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Friday, June 13, 2025, at home in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was born on April 20, 1934, in Sonora, Texas. Julia was the precious daughter of Pedro and Julia Garza.
She was married to Arnulfo Cardona, in Sonora, Texas and was married for 50 years. They moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1968 from San Angelo Texas. The couple shared a beautiful life together until Arnulfo’s passing.
Julia's legacy is one of unwavering family and friend devotion, kindness, generosity, and a zest for life. She was our rock and angel; she had so much love for her family and in every beat of our hearts she will always be there. We are so thankful to God for the love and wisdom she gave us and as parents to pass on to our children and may the circle keep repeating that love, wisdom and strength. She taught those around her the importance of being family-oriented, loving, and helping others and was known for her motivating spirit.
Her hobbies included walking and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Julia's encouraging spirit and never-ending love made her a beloved figure to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and never forgotten.
Julia's life was a testament to the fruits of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5:22-23: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. Her memory will live on in the hearts and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
