She was born in Loveland, Colorado on September 17th, 1967 to Jack and Agnes Templeman. She grew up in Loveland and graduated from Loveland High School and went on to study at the Art Institute of Denver in Colorado.
Kathee was a very thoughtful and kind person. She was fun-loving and social. Kathee was loved by so many and had many dear friends. She loved art, games, playing guitar, music, and working on her computer. She loved spending time with friends. More than anything in the world, Kathee loved her family, especially her three sons, Nick, Scott, and Jack. She thought of her children daily. Kathee was a woman of faith and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Loveland and attended St. John’s School through the 8th grade. At different times, she was also a member of St. Mary’s in Cheyenne, Wyoming and St. Joseph’s in Fort Collins.
Kathee was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 20 years go. In 2011, she lost her ability to walk. She then lost the use of her right arm several years ago and had very limited use of her left. For many years she resided as a patient in the nursing home due to the level of care which was needed. Throughout it all, she never gave up her faith in God and was never willing to give in or give up.
Surviving Kathee are her sons, Nick Long, Scott Long, and Jack Olinger; her brother, Brad Templeman (and wife Rebecca), and sister Carol Templeman; and her mother, Agnes Templeman; as well as other extended family and many dear friends. She is welcomed in Heaven by her father, Jack Templeman, who passed away in 2007.
A Memorial Mass will be held for Kathee on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church in Loveland, followed by a Graveside Committal Service at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins. Please join Kathee's family back at the church for a Lunch Reception and a time of fellowship and remembrance.
Along with flowers, donations are encouraged in Kathee's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and to Pathways Hospice of Northern Colorado. Memories of Kathee and words of condolence for her family are welcome at resthavencolorado.com.
