Ken was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 25, 1949, the only son of Kenneth Sr. and Regina Bockhold. He had two sisters. Following high school, he enlisted in the US Army Reserves. On December 27, 1969, Ken married Shelia Kemper in Littleton, Colorado. Together they had three children: Kendra, Kari, and Kenny. The family relocated to Fort Collins in 1988.
For many years, Ken worked as a store manager for King Soopers grocery stores. He enjoyed playing golf and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ken was a devoted to his family. He will be dearly missed.
Ken leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Shelia Bockhold, daughters, Kendra Sheehan (husband Marc), and Kari Curtis (husband Conway), and his grandchildren, Tyler Sheehan, and Harold & Jocelyn Curtis. Ken's son Kenny Bockhold preceded him in death.
