Kim Ann Colton passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at the age of 71. She was born on August 9, 1951 in Longmont, CO to Phyllis and John Williams. Kim was the oldest of 5 children. In 1969, she graduated from Loveland High School then went to Colorado State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. Kim worked at Hewlett-Packard where she planned office spaces and coordinated moves for over 30 years. After retiring from HP, she worked at Loveland High School.
On September 11, 1971, Kim married Dennis Colton of Loveland; they moved to Fort Collins where they raised two daughters. Kim was a supportive and loving mom, never missing any games or events. Kim always liked to be busy. She enjoyed watching sports, making things, and spending time in the mountains where she and Dennis could often be found on a 4-wheel drive trail. Kim was incredibly talented. She made Halloween costumes, stained glass art, paper crafts, and quilts for all occasions. She also enjoyed decorating for all seasons and taking care of her beautiful gardens.
Kim is survived by her husband, Dennis; her daughters, Heather (Brad) Haas and Amber (Rob) Halligan; her two grandsons, Brady Haas and Colton Halligan; her brother, Chris Williams; and her sister, Jill Ayde.
