Many people came to know and love Kris throughout her 40 year career at the Black Steer restaurant. Kris was a loyal Broncos fan and loved gardening. She was past president of her bowling league and played a significant role in the lives of her grandchildren. She made a significant impact on many and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dona Sladek; her sister, Dass McNulty; and her boyfriend of 16 years, Mike Steege.
Kris is survived by many loving friends and family, including her daughter, Sara Cole, son-in- law, Travis and grandchildren Teegan and Molly.
