Marion F. Wetzler

He proudly served in the United States Navy until retirement, was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, and a lifetime member of the NRA. In his free time Marion enjoyed fishing, hunting, Spanish dancing, bowling, going to church, spending time with his grandkids, and taking them fishing. He raised 14 children and worked very hard to make sure everyone was very well taken care of.

Marion is survived by his sons; Leonard Wetzler, Leno Wetzler, Ron Wetzler, Donald Wetzler, David Wetzler, 3 Step sons, and daughters, Jennifer Wetzler (Adrian), Billie Jo Helt (Bill), Miranda Bazaldua (Daniel), and Beverly Carter (Evan), along with 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Victoria A. Wetzler, son Larry D. Wetzler, his parents, 2 grandsons, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.

A Rosary service will be held for Marion at 10:30 am December 22, 2017 at John the 23rd Catholic Church, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am and burial at Resthaven Memory Garden at 12:30pm with a reception to follow. Memorial contributions in Marion’s name may be made to John the 23rd Catholic Church.
