Martha Marie Raso

Martha was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was always there when needed the most, offering support, wisdom, love and laughter in abundance.

She is survived by her sons Lawrence Raso (Patricia), and Angelo Raso (Susan); grandchildren Eric Reeher (Elizabeth Beard), Curtis Raso, Justin Raso (Frances), Kenneth Reeher, Jordan Raso, and Jacque Raso; great- grandchildren Lucas Beard, Xavier Reeher, Dominic Raso, Maria Raso, Anthony Raso, Geneiveve Raso, Isabelle Raso, Annalisa Raso, Felicity Raso, Paulino Ibarra, Mia Silerio, and Marcos Silerio; her sister Ruth Casis; and brothers-in-law Tony Raso (Karen) and Nathan Algien; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha was born in Walsenburg, Colorado on May 6, 1931 to Porfirio Ortega and Lidia Valdez. She was one of eight children. Martha married the love of her life, Angelo Raso, in East Chicago, Indiana on February 6, 1954. Martha and Angelo settled in East Chicago before moving to Loveland in 1969.

Martha and family enjoyed traveling. She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting casinos. She loved spending time with friends and family. She loved shopping and going out to breakfast or lunch. She loved to cook!

A Celebration of Martha's Life will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 11am at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, followed immediately by her Committal Service. Larry and Patty will be hosting lunch afterwards at their home in Loveland.
