Maxine was born in Goodman, Missouri to Noah and Dora (Layne) McGarr on March 17, 1933. She was married to Ronald Lonning, Sr. on September 12, 1955 in San Jose, California. Together, they moved to various parts of the country, until they settled in Wellington, Colorado ten years ago.
Max enjoyed sewing, puzzles, keeping house and raising children.
She is survived by her loving husband, two children; Ronald (Lucy) Lonning, Jr., and Laurie Lonning, three grandchildren; Keith Merriman, Rachel Lonning and Adrian (Rembert) Hann, one great grandchild, Jade, and two sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim McGarr.
