Nancy Ann (Harold) Spillman, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on September 4, 2018, with her family at her side after a long battle with the complications of Diabetes.
Nancy was born on April 2, 1943 to Robert and Evelyn Harold.
Nancy received her elementary and high school education in Julesburg, Colorado and went on to study bookkeeping at Parks Business College in Denver, Colorado.
She married Richard Spillman on December 29, 1962 and they began their life together in Fort Collins, Colorado. To this union was born three children: Michelle, Mark and Mary.
In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, Nancy was employed as a bookkeeper for several businesses. She was an excellent cook and seamstress, and enjoyed oil painting, knitting, gardening, traveling and reading until her eyesight began to fail. She is survived by her husband Richard; brother James; her three children, Michelle, Mark, and Mary; grandson Tate; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Raymond Spillman (Anne), Gerald Spillman (Judy), Sandra Merrick (Charley); numerous cousins and many friends. Her parents predeceased her.
Nancy was a loving spouse and parent. She enjoyed her extended family and numerous friends and loved cooking for and entertaining them, especially during the holiday seasons.
Her family and friends would like to acknowledge the dedicated professionals at Poudre Valley Hospital, Centre Avenue Health & Rehab, and Pathways Hospice for their care and compassion for Nancy and all of us.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at Allnutt Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins on September 12, 2018 at 1:30 PM.
