Born on April 15, 1981, in Loveland, Colorado, Rachel was the beloved daughter of Barbara Lance and the late Larry Lance, and a cherished sister to Sarah Bueno (David) and Trevor Lance (Keana). She was a loving aunt to McKinley and Wyatt. Rachel is lovingly remembered by her husband, Anthony Rizzuto. Together, they deeply loved their son, Valentin Miller, who preceded her in death. She is also survived by her grandfather, Larry Lance Sr., her grandmother, Lorelei Anderson; and many cousins.
Her extended family includes her sister-in-law Evelyn Alvarado (Efrain) and their daughter, Beatrice, her beloved niece; her brother-in-law Buddy Rizzuto (Sidney); and her mother-in-law Donna Rizzuto, along with her late father-in-law, Bob Rizzuto.
Rachel’s life was deeply rooted in her love for Jehovah God. She found joy and purpose in sharing the Bible’s message with others, volunteering her time in the Christian ministry to help people learn about the hope of everlasting life on a paradise earth - a promise she firmly believed and cherished. Her faith was not only a source of strength but also the foundation for how she treated others - with kindness, humility, and genuine care.
Rachel lived a life marked by deep compassion, always thinking of others before herself, and by her unwavering love for her family. Rachel and Tony shared a loving marriage for 22 years. When their son Valentin entered their lives, Rachel and Tony grew even closer. With Valentin, their family was whole. Rachel poured herself into the role of mother with devotion, patience, and love. Together, they shared many adventures and found joy in the spiritual activities that enriched their lives and deepened their bond.
She had a remarkable ability to make others feel included and valued - whether through a heartfelt conversation, a lovingly prepared meal, or one of her perfectly chosen gifts. She found joy in cooking, nurturing her plants, and exploring new places. Hosting friends brought her genuine happiness, and their home was filled with warmth and laughter. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her genuine love, sweet nature, quiet inner strength, and the immense joy she brought to all of their lives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at Embassy Suites, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland, CO 80538.
