

Robert F. Lang, 72, of Fort Collins passed away on November 26, 2008. Robert was born on October 20, 1936 in Lancaster, Ohio to Paul F. and Marguerite (Silcott) Lang. He graduated from Elyria High School, John Hayes Trade School for Carpenters and Air Traffic Control School.Robert married Patricia Tremor in 1978 in Elyria, Ohio. He was a former resident of North Olmstead, OH and moved to Fort Collins in the spring of 2000.He worked for the Carpenters Local 209 and 212 and Professional Air Traffic Control Organization. Robert was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the Elyria Cascade Chordsman Barbershop Chorus and also a member of the Meadowlark Church of Christ. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, grilling, golf and singing.Robert lived at Fort Collins Health Care Center for the past seven years. The family would like to thank all of the staff for their kindness and love and for the wonderful care they gave him.He touched the lives of so many and will be remembered with love by all.He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Shirley Lang.Robert is survived by his wife Patti of Fort Collins; sons Mark (Pam) Lang of Elyria, OH and John Lang of Reno, NV; daughters Patty (Bill) Logan of Greeley, Shirley (Adam) Moon of Medina, OH and Shannon (Dave) Watson of Fort Collins; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00pm on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Meadowlark Church of Christ in Fort Collins.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain States Children's Home or the Larimer County Humane Society in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S.
