Sara worked as an MA for OCR in Fort Collins, as well as the Nephrology Center. She graduated from Fort Collins High School in 2007 and attended Front Range Community College as well as IBMC where she obtained her phlebotomy and medical assistant certifications.
Sara played second base for two competitive fastpitch teams, Fort Collins STARS and Berthoud Blaze. She also played second base and lettered in fastpitch softball and cheerleading at Fossil Ridge. Softball and fly fishing were her passions as well as her dog, Rios.
Sara is survived by her parents, Mark and Karen Williams of Fort Collins; brother, Matthew McLaughlin of Portland, OR; and grandparents of Colorado Springs and Rutland, Vermont.
Sara will be interred at Memorial Gardens in Colorado Springs with her predeceased uncle and grandparents. A Celebration of Life will be held in Colorado Springs at a date still to be determined.
