Scott Richard Park

Scott was born in Champaign, IL on April 23, 1974 to Richard and Carolyn Park. He was a loving son, and sweet brother to his sisters: Tammy Shorts, Christine Neubert, and Janet Dustin.

Scott attended schools in Fort Collins. He loved participating in sports, especially basketball. He graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1992 and went on to achieve his Bachelor of Environmental Science from Utah State University. He left his mark in the oil and gas industry as an Environmental, Regulatory and Health and Safety Director.

One day, he asked a waitress for her phone number, fell in love, became best friends, and was honored to be a father to two amazing children, Penley and Porter. As a dedicated husband and father, he coached from the court and field, and enjoyed cheering from the stands at all of his children’s sporting events.

Scott had a kind and loving heart that was evident to those who knew him well. As a husband and father, he was both a protector and guide. He watched over his family with a careful eye, always thinking ahead and making sure their needs, both spoken and unspoken were met. He will be missed by all who knew him. May God be with him and with those he loved and left behind.

Scott is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sarah Park, his daughter, Penley, and son, Porter. He is also survived by his parents, Richard and Carolyn Park, three sisters, Tammy (Kevin) Shorts, Christine (Joel) Neubert, Janet Park Dustin, and 13 nieces and nephews.
