Shirley was born February 17th 1923 in Boston, Massachusetts to Louis and Florence Rosoff. She attended both Suffolk University in Boston and University of Maryland where she studied Liberal Arts and German. Shirley enlisted in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Staff Sargent before discharge in 1946. After her service, Shirley began a career and hobby around her love of antiques in Alexandria VA, then later in Ft. Collins CO so she could be closer to her son Charles. Shirley’s livelihood was in her passion for antiques and love of animals.
She is survived by her grand-daughter, Stephanie Leigh; great grandson, Dorian Leigh; niece, Liz Tennison; nephew, Christopher B. Reade and his children Donovan and Jennifer; niece, Dana Whitney Harrison and her children Matthew, Jeffrey, and Kayla, and nephew Robert B. Reade Jr and his children Robert Reade III, Charlie, and Alicia.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brothers, Sherman and Robert; and son, Charles Alan Myers.
