

Theresa Ann Fisher was born December 23, 1953 to Dale and Mary (Calvert) Sooter in Winfield Kansas and died March 15, 2022 in Colorado. Growing up in Winfield she attended the Winfield school system receiving her GED in 1973.
She married Gary Sanders and to that marriage a daughter, Katherine Marie was born in 1982.
Theresa worked at the Winfield State Hospital as a caregiver and in food service. After the closure of the State Hospital, she moved to Wichita, Kansas and took a custodial position in 2000 at Wichita State University. She served on the University Staff Senate and retired from WSU in 2012.
She was united in marriage to Glen Allen Fisher on July 20, 2002 in Grace Memorial Chapel at Wichita State University. They lived in Wichita purchasing their own home in 2014. Theresa enjoyed attending the Countryside Christian Church where she sang in the choir and once played a role in the church’s annual live nativity. They moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2019.
Her other interests included traveling with Glen, visiting with family and friends, working on her computer, playing her electric piano, bowling on the church league, working word and jigsaw puzzles, and watching her soap opera. Her three Grandchildren were most precious to her and when possible celebrated their birthdays and special holidays together.
She is predeceased by her Parents and brother, Chris Michael.
Those grieving for her include her loving husband Glen, her daughter Katherine (Phillip) Boucher, grandsons Brycen, Aiden and Ethan, Sister-in-Law Kathleen Michael, Sister-in Law Lynette (Craig) Seymour, Brothers-in-Law Brian Fisher and Peter Criss and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life in Winfield, Kansas at a later date.
