

Wayne was born on November 12, 1925 in Coalville, UT to EG and Maybelle Bullock. He grew up with two sisters, Marselle, and Helen. At the age of 18, he joined the Army Air Corps and was trained as a rear turret gunner in WWII. He served in the Air Force for 25 years and retired at the rank of Major. He was on active duty during three wars: WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War. While in the service, he got his Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology and Master’s Degree in Computer Science at the University of Utah.
During his services, he met his sweetheart, Alene Greer, and married on October 31, 1945. They were married for 68 years. He was a father to James A. Bullock, Lynda Bullock Monson, Marigaye Bullock Barnes, Kirby W. Bullock, Tami Bullock Mayhoffer, Sharon Bullock Moore, and K. ReNae Bullock Anderson. He has 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
After the military he worked for the department of Agriculture and taught computer science at Regis University in Denver.
He was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in various capacities. One of his favorite was as a temple worker for 9 years at the Denver Colorado Temple. Wayne and Alene served for 18 months as missionaries in Salt Lake City, UT at the Family History Library, where they assisted hundreds in tracing their ancestry. Wayne took a family history trip to England in 2000, tracing his own family line.
He loved hunting with his sons, he was a camera bug, took thousands of pictures of nature and family trips. He loved the Broncos, the Nuggets, and the Rockies.
He is loved and will be missed by his many friends and family members. He touched the lives of everyone he met!
The funeral services will be Wednesday, January 15th, 2014 at 1 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Lynnwood Chapel. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Perpetual Education Fund in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
