Born in Burbank, California, Dee was a retired teacher and a dedicated community volunteer. She worked closely with Congressman Ed Royce, advocating for senior issues. She will be remembered for her humor, intelligence, and deep devotion to her family and community.
She is survived by her son, Larry Erman; her sister, Ann Dunbar; her brother, Dr. Donald Dunbar; her grandson, Sean Erman and his wife Megan; and four grandchildren: Jake, Grant, Brynn, and Brooke.
Dee enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, quilting, and traveling. Her life was a testament to service and love.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dee’s memory to the Placentia Library or the American Cancer Society.
