
EVERETT, Charles (Charlie) F. January 5, 1925 - May 3, 2010 Charles F. Everett, Veteran of WWII, died of a heart attack on May 3, 2010 at the age of 85. Charlie was born in Garden Grove, California and lived all his life in Orange County. He received a Master's Degree in English Literature from California State University Fullerton and worked for Chevron Oil Research as a technical editor. He loved music and played in a recorder ensemble, sang in his church choir and especially loved singing in the Orange Empire Barbershop Chorus. His wife of 54 years, Jessie Bernadine, preceded him in death in 2001. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Peterson, son Mark Everett, sister Connie Emberton, his beloved friend Dodie Sailor with whom he shared the last years of his life, and her sons Tim, Dory and Kevin who were as dear to him as his own children. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 6, 1:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fullerton, 1600 North Acacia Avenue, Fullerton.
