Charles Arthur Harris

Charles A. (Chuck) Harris passed away on February 23, 2016 from prostate cancer. He was born in National City, CA on July 31, 1947 to Charles W. and Betty R. Harris, who preceded him in death. Chuck is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan, and his son Todd; sister Kathi Thomas (Joe) of Fallbrook, CA; numerous cousins and a myriad of dear friends who he considered his family. He grew up in San Diego and attended Granite Hills High School. He served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 and then worked for Brown & Williamson as a Sales Manager. In 1987 he was transferred to LA and then retired in 2001. Following his retirement, Chuck became an Office Coordinator with BAS & Associates and retired in 2013. He enjoyed gardening, sports and working on model airplanes & trains, but he enjoyed activities with his family most of all. His love, sense of humor and warrior attitude will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 29th, at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary. 902 North Harbor Blvd., Fullerton 92832; On Tuesday, March 1st a Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park (Evergreen Lawn Section), 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113. The family would like any donations go to St. Jude Memorial Foundation in honor of Chuck Harris.
