So on April 17th our dad was released from UCI with his dialysis line removed. After 9 years of being on dialysis, 6 days a week & this past year in & out of ICU with multiple ...the" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">surgeries...the Dr's ran out options. According to the Dr.'s and "google" usually once dialysis is stopped you die within one to two weeks... but dad lived for 33 days... remaining coherent up until around the 31st day... where at the end we were just trying to keep him medicated so he wouldn't feel any pain. This past month was an incredible gift as we all surrounded him with love & laughter ...he was always on the road...whether in his Big Rig or on his Harley... Big John is riding high in the sky now and while the ride might be over ...the journey has just begun in the Heavens... his services will be Friday, June 2nd & Saturday June 3rd ....
