John Edmond Meade, has peacefully passed away, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 86 on November 18, 2015. John was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on June 24, 1929. He joined the Air Force when he was 18 and served for 12 years, including service in the Korean War. After military service, John worked for several Aerospace companies until his retirement in the late 80’s. He lived in Placentia, California for the last 38 years with his wife Flor of 52 years. He is survived by his wife, Flor; daughters Cynthia and Ann; sons in law, Scott and George; and grand children, Camille, Luc, Sophie and Christopher. He will be deeply missed by his family.Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Placentia on November 25, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. followed by his burial at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m.
