Larry Eugene Newton

Larry Eugene Newton left this world peacefully in his sleep on January 15, 2011, at the age of 68 years old. He served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy after graduating from Long Beach Polytechnic High school, following a long family tradition of military service. After serving in Japan and the Philippines, he was honorably discharged and went on to obtain a Bachelors of Art degree in Business from California State at Long Beach and a Juris Doctorate of Law from Western State Law University in Fullerton, California. He ran a successful law practice, practicing primarily in Los Angeles County and Orange County. He maintained an office in Naples, California, for the past 20 years and his career as an attorney spanned over three decades. Larry was an outdoor enthusiast who spent his years hiking, bicycling, off-roading, surfing and scuba diving. Throughout his life he traveled throughout the world and promoted this love of experiencing world cultures to his children. He is survived by his son, Jason Newton, his daughter-in-law, Yadira Newton, daughters, Kelly Newton and Lauren Newton, and five grandchildren, Natassia Newton, Angel Rangel, James Rangel, Destiny Rangel and Jesse Newton. Services will be held privately.
