Martha Victoria Fedel

Martha Victoria (Lind) Fedel was born in Chicago, IL on September 24th, 1929 to Olaf and Alida Lind. Martha grew up in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, graduated from Lakeview High, and attended Philadelphia Church on Clark St.

While working at the Railroad Retirement Board she met the love of her life, John Fedel. They were married on Washington Island, WI August 30th, 1954.

She was a homemaker and loving mother of three children. Residing in Chicago and Park Ridge, IL until moving to Fullerton, CA in January of 1971.

Martha was involved in many organizations during her lifetime, the OC Orchid Society, OC Begonia Society, Cactus and Succulent Club, Newcomers Club of Fullerton, Bowling Club as well as volunteering with rehabilitation of stroke patients. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton and worked in the library there for years.

She and husband John were avid 4 wheelers and as members of the OC Blazer Club they enjoyed many happy times camping and traveling the desert. Martha was well travelled throughout the US, and also a visited 65 other countries over 6 continents.

Martha is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years John Fedel Sr., her three children and their spouses. Vicki (Fedel) and John McMurray, John Jr and Leonie Fedel, Tim Fedel, and two grandchildren Matthew and Christopher McMurray. No chapel visitation, graveside service will be held on January 17th, 2020 at 10:15am at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
