

Pauline was born December 1, 1932 in Gardner, Massachusetts to Joseph and Delia (LeBlanc) Doucette. Pauline was 6 months old when her father moved the family to Cap-Lumière, New Brunswick, Canada. She moved back to Gardner, Massachusetts when she was 17 years old. Pauline married the love of her life, Norman Richard, on November 3, 1951. Together they raised six children. She and Norman moved many times while he served in the Air Force before retiring and settling in Yorba Linda, CA in 1981.
Pauline was a devoted wife and mother. Her faith and her family were the two things she treasured most. She enjoyed spending her time in the kitchen, and was known for making her homemade bread and beautiful wedding cakes. She always made more than enough food.
Surviving is her husband, Norman Richard. Also surviving are her five children: Bill Richard (Paula) of Maui, HI; Gigi Richard of Henderson, NV; Norma Busch (Steve) of Henderson, NV; Bob Richard of Yorba Linda, CA and Nicole Castillo (Lenny) of Yorba Linda, CA. She has 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, Maurice Doucet (Angela), Doris Boucher (Andre) Jeannette Doucette, Emile Doucette, and Monique Comeau (Ernie).She is predeceased by: her parents; her daughter, Ann Marie; her grandson Christopher; her sister Rhea; her brothers George and Norman.
The viewing will be held Thursday, August 19, at 2021 at 9:30 am, followed by a rosary at 10:00 and a funeral Mass at 10:30. St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 19767 Yorba Linda, Blvd., Yorba Linda, CA 92886.
