I was so sad to hear about Robin!! We taught together at Patrick Henry for many years. We had many good times together there. She was a wonderful teacher! I will miss getting my spring updates and pictures on her dad's  wisteria vines!! Love you!

Robin was an integral part of the Patrick Henry School staff. Her professionalism and compassion for her students were legendary, and all of us were honored to be her colleague. Her untimely passing is a true loss to our close "Henry Family."

Robin was a kind a warm person.  The first time I met Robin was to give her the Alumni Band folder as she was working on putting the band together.  From that day forward it was a good friendship.  We did not get together often, however, when we did it was like we knew each other for ever.  Out of the blue she would call and tell me of these great get togethers such as Dan Famous Christmas party.  I would get a call; hey the alumni band is getting together to play with the present band. Music was such a large part of her life.  She will be missed.

Robin was such a sweet soul! I was honored to escort her to prom.    Over the years we have been able to connect.    I have treasured each and every exchange!

The world is a bit less light without Robin in it.     Rest well my friend.

Always quick with a kind word, she was loved, adored and admired by her Chapman Stick community. She is always with us <3

Mrs. Costin became part of my family’s life when I started kindergarten in 1993, and our hearts are broken by her passing. She was more than a teacher—she was family. She taught me and my three siblings, and over the years, our bond only grew stronger. She celebrated my high school and college graduations with us, and we were honored to have her at my parents’ wedding. 

For over 30 years, she remained a cherished part of our lives, sharing in our joys and milestones. Our text messages this past summer held a special meaning—I thought of her and her family often as I traveled through Japan, even sending her pictures from the trip. We shared a love for the beauty this world has to offer. 

I still remember her retirement party—the pure joy she radiated that day was a testament to the life she lived and the love she gave so freely. Mrs. Costin was truly one of a kind—a gem, a guiding light, and, as my mom so beautifully put it, an angel on earth. 

On behalf of the Preciado-Rodriguez family, we extend our deepest condolences to all who loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.

Our family is grateful for this outpouring of love for Robin. She was a deeply caring, generous, fun friend, and also the most amazing daughter, wife, mother, aunty, cousin and sister. Our sweet Robin, you will be so missed… You are now soaring with the Angels watching over everyone, like you did here…  it’s still hard to believe you are no longer with us. Know that your family will be get through this with help from all of us.

Through the Chapman Stick community, we became friends, sharing our admiration for the music we created on this unique instrument.  Robin was always fascinated with the sonic output she could produce on her prized Stick. Always a joy to share an hour of instruction with her via Skype from 3k miles away. She was an important part of the Stick community.  She will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to her family and friends

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Mrs. Costin. She made such a positive impact on my life during and after  kindergarten. I will always remember her warmth, kindness, and the way she made learning fun. Her dedication and care shaped so many of us, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Please know that my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. She will truly be missed.

I have so much to say about my beautiful friend Robin but my 💔 won’t allow me to right now. 

For now I will just say Robin and I had an incredible once in a lifetime bond. It manifested in countless ways. This photo is one of them. It was taken at my 60’s themed birthday party. Coincidentally we both bought the same Snoopy Feelin Groovy shirts to wear for the party!

I met Robin when I began working at Mervins some 37 years ago. We are both the same age and would like to go on amazing trips together to celebrate our birthdays sometimes.  We became besties and have enjoyed so much together from rollerblading on the boardwalk, hiking in Sedona, and beach and drinks in La Jolla.  She was talented playing her Stick, and what a beautiful voice when she sang karaoke.  She was and always will be very special to me and my husband and two sons.  We miss you dearly sweet Robin.

My sweet beautiful friend! I can’t believe you are gone. I loved every time we were able to get together with you and Jerry when we would come back home! I will cherish every memory of you. I will pray for your wonderful family. I know how much you loved them and how they thought the world of you. 
I will miss you so much from our talking on the phone, to our texting, to your last video you sent me from Hawaii. 
I love you Robin and will miss you so much!
