Thomas Franklin Weisz

Thomas Franklin Weisz, 63, of Placentia, California, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015, at his home. He was born in Fremont, Ohio to Franklin and Ruth Weisz. He enjoyed participating in all sports and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. After graduating from Texas Lutheran University in 1973, he worked his entire professional career in the insurance industry with Travelers Insurance, AIG, Crum and Forrester and lastly at Andreini & Company where he was a Vice-President and Director of Claims Operations. In 1974, he married Barbara, the love of his life and they were devoted to one another for 40 years. He was so very loving and proud of his children, Christopher and Michelle, and granddaughter Kaya. He had tremendous admiration for his brother Don and great respect for his sister Alice. Tom was an extremely charitable man and faithful friend. The viewing will take place on Saturday, January 17th from 2 -5 p.m. at McAulay Wallace Mortuary, 902 North Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, CA 92832. The memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., on January 19th, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 111 West Las Palmas Drive, Fullerton, CA 92835. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Tom Weisz to one of the following charities: American Cancer Society; American Heart Association and/or Northshore Animal League.
