Of Gaithersburg, MD passed away peacefully at home November 5, 2021.
Born on June 22, 1990 in Delray Beach, FL, she was the daughter of Sam and Debra Carter.
Preceded in death by her father, she is survived by her mother Deb, sister Molly Carter, Grandmother Mary Jane Filarski, Aunt Janie Phillips, Uncle David & Aunt Erin Filarski, cousins Jen and Tim Phillips and Luke and Jake Filarski, and long-time caregiver Maria Caro.
Amanda was a graduate of the Longview School in Germantown, MD and had been attending Unified Community Connections in Frederick, MD. Amanda was the light of her mother’s life. She loved food, music, and riding her bicycle through her neighborhood. She enjoyed her life and touched the lives of others.
