Brenda Meyer

Brenda Meyer passed into our Lord’s care on December 7, 2020. She was born on January 14, 1939 and was engaged to Gerald F. Meyer on July 5, 1956. She was married on August 9, 1958 and was the mother of four children – Bridget (Forcier), Siobhain (Kandra), Matthew, and Michael. She was a grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Alexandria, Virginia, from Immaculata Junior College in Washington, D.C., and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Trinity College, Washington, D.C., awarded Summa Cum Laude in 1997.

She worked for the Social Security Administration for a number of years and retired from the U.S. Public Health Service in 2001. She was a warm and gentle person and was much loved by her husband of 62 years, family, and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1513 Dunster Road, Rockville, MD 20854 on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 10:30 AM. The family will receive friends before the Mass from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM Interment Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, VA. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that friends do something kind for someone else.
