On Sunday, September 29, 2019, the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, Dominic Tondo of Montgomery Village, MD, passed away surrounded by his family. He was born in Corato, Italy on February 28th, 1954. Beloved husband for 28 years of Jeannie Giddings Tondo; loving father of Bert (Carmen) Tondo, Maria (Seth) Silva, Peggy (Josh) Johanni, and Michael (Christina) Tondo. Also survived by 14 grandchildren. Preceded in death by first wife of 14 years Mary Lou Tondo. Also preceded in death by parents Umberto Tondo and Maria Tondo.
Friends may call at De Vol funeral home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Friday Oct. 4th from 6:00-8:00pm Visitation on Saturday Oct. 5th from 10:00-10:45am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20882. Interment follows at All Souls cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
