Elaine Noll passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on November 22, 2025, surrounded and celebrated by family for her 90th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband Philip in 2022. She was the loving mother of Douglas (Linda), and Gregg (Dee) and devoted sister to Les Moyer (Carmen). Elaine was the beloved Grandmom of six grandchildren, Jennifer, David (Jen), Jonathan (Amy), Steven (Sarah), Aaron (Lauren), and Abigail Allen (Graham). She was great grandmother to Caleb, Leah, Violet, Peter Allen, Joshua, Louisa, Mathias, Lilias Allen and Lucy.
Elaine was born and raised in Doylestown, PA. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Bible from Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University), and a Bachelor’s in English from Rutgers University. She worked at The Neighborhood Center in Camden as an executive assistant and wrote grant applications. Elaine met the love of her life, Phil, in 1958 while participating in the singles fellowship group at Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. They were married in 1960 and raised their family in Pennsauken, NJ, where they lived for 36 years. They moved to Mt. Laurel, NJ in 1996.
Elaine had a gift for hosting. She kept a beautiful and peaceful home, always ready to welcome guests for dinner parties and get-togethers. She was creative and crafty, bonding with others over her love for knitting, sewing and embroidery and passing her skills to her granddaughters. She often made miniatures and gave them as gifts and she enjoyed being an active participant in the quilting group at Holiday Village East, spending many hours making beautifully crafted items for her family, friends and for charity. She was an adventurous world-traveler, loving to go on trips with Phil and always bringing back interesting stories and souvenirs. As a Francophile and self-taught French speaker, she enjoyed talking about her adventures in France. She always looked forward to the yearly highlight of summer vacations to the beach with her grandchildren.
Elaine was a woman of grace and integrity. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and raised her family in the truths of the Christian faith by both word and example. She will be missed, but there is comfort in knowing that she is at home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be sent to Samaritan's Purse (samaritanspurse.org).
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 10am-11am, followed by the Memorial Service at 11am at the Fellowship Community Church, 1520 Hainesport Rd, Mt Laurel Township, NJ 08054. Reception at the church will follow immediately after the service. Interment will be private.
