On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, Filomena Morena, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 87. Filomena was born on January 17, 1934 in Teggiano, Salerno, Italy. She was a farmers daughter who immigrated to America with her husband and daughter where she was a seamstress for many years. Filomena was a strong and charming woman who valued family above all else. She loved food, fashion and classic Italian music. Filomena is succeeded by her daughter Giovanna, her two grandchildren Caterina and Nicolas, and her great grandchild Leo.
There is a visitation on Sunday, May 30 at 10AM-12PM at De Vol Funeral Home which will be followed by a small gathering at her daughter’s home.
