A native of Zimbabwe, Ms Marufu died from cancer on September 11, 2018 at her home in Germantown Maryland. She was 66 and is survived by her devoted children Jean (Brighton), Omega and Heather and her grand children Varaidzo, Wayne, Ethan, Anashe and Shane. Brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces. Ms Marufu was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Theresa Marufu, brothers Gregory and Luke Marufu. She leaves behind a host of sisters, brothers nieces, nephews and an extended family
Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD on Sunday , September 16, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM. Funeral mass will be at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church with a funeral service at 11 a.m on Monday September 17. Interment will be in Zimbabwe.
