Kevin was truly a great guy. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. It was an honor and a privilege to have served families with him. He will truly be missed.

Have my share of great memories from way back including going to a slew of skins games, a few hunting gatherings and an amazing fishing trip on the bay where all but me and Denny were unscathed from the seasickness. Kevin was one of the first hockey parents I met at Gonzaga when Dennis and my son Matt were freshmen. He was a goalie dad and was hilarious and a realist all at the same time. Thoroughly enjoyed him and Anne at many events and he will be dearly missed. Best to all. The Nicolson family.

I spent quality time with Kevin in Ireland his first year on the Irish Trip. His good spirts and high energy was one of the highlights of that trip for me. Revisiting with Kevin, his stories of driving a fifteen-passenger van that had a clutch through the hilly, windy, narrow country lanes always brought smiles. Memories of Kevin will continue to bring me smiles every time I think of Ireland and that special Gonzaga trip.

Bumped into Anne and Kevin 2022 at the Best Western, Burlington, NC - Elon’s HC weekend.  Didn’t realize he attended … we had a great visit and I will cherish the memory. Thank you, Kevin, enjoy your family reunion in heaven.

My condolences to Ann and family.  It broke my heart when I heard the news about Kevin.  Kevin was a wonderful, funny, caring person.  Every time a memory of him comes to mind, it makes me smile and I get this overwhelming sense of happiness.  Rest in peace!

Loved Kevin's humor and how he always had fun at the Warner parties.  He was alwasy so nice to my daughter, Claire.  We will miss you Kevin and my prayers goes out to all the family.

I'm so sad to  learn of the loss of Kevin. I had the deep privilege and pleasure of working with three generations of the  DeVol family for almost 50 years while I worked at The Washington Post. Over a decade ago my wife and I lost a baby at birth.  Kevin, a good high school friend, handled the arrangements for us.  I will never forget how quickly he responded showing up a Georgetown Hospital to receive the body with such love and care.  We were a young growing family with little resources and never saw a bill.  It brings me joy that our little Isabela will see Kevin’s smile in heaven.  Know that the entire Brach family will be praying for Ann and all of Kevin’s friends and family during this time of loss.

I met Kevin in high school at St John’s freshman year. We were not the cool kids or the jocks but that did not really matter much to us. His sense of humor and wit always stood out… and I think he was chronically smiling. He took things in stride most of the time. His respect for his parents kept him on the straight and narrow ….. although beer and girls were always a temptation to delve into the riskier behavior. We still kept in touch after he went to Elon and through social media in later years. Our talks and experiences in dealing with school and DC shaped my beliefs and life strategies …. And still drive my principles in dealing with and interacting with my patients.

Kevin and I were childhood friends and had a lot of fun together. As we grew up, we also shared many formative experiences, the kind that seem to happen every day when you’re young. I have a vivid memory of Kevin and I listening to WHFS together in my room and hearing hip hop for the first time, a song called The Message, and being blown away by it. We drifted apart in college but I always cherished our time together. My condolences to his family and many friends.

The last Elon HC we were together. Nov 2022.  I'll miss your Friday afternoon phone calls on your way home.  RIP my Brother.... In Hoc
