Lloyd George Wescoe, died on Friday, November 29th at Sunrise Senior Living in Montgomery Village, Maryland. Born on June 15, 1933 in High Bridge, NJ, he was the son of the late George Franklin Wescoe and Mary Connolly Wescoe. Surviving are his wife, Mary Wescoe, daughter, Trudi Gatons, her husband Paul Gatons and granddaughter, Leigh Gatons. Also surviving are his sister, Carolyn Schweitzer and brother Tom Wescoe and wife Jeanie.
Mr. Wescoe graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Physical Education and is also a graduate of Salisbury State College with a Masters in Education. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He had a fulfilling career in education with Wicomico County Public Schools.
A family memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 12 noon at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD.
