Lois Gray Thomas

On Friday, April 22, 2022, Mrs. Lois Gray Thomas, 86 of Rockville, MD went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family. She was born in Princeton, WV on October 21, 1935 to the late William Henry and Ledia Maxil Sims. Lois was a volunteer at the Rockville Senior Center Thrift Store. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Thomas; two sons Jerry and David Thomas; siblings Charlie, Richard, William and Betty. She is survived by her children Malinda Freeman and Herbert Wayne Thomas and his wife Linda; five grandchildren Kimberly, Ashley, Nikki, Cody and Krystal; nine great-grandchildren Hayden, Devin, Emily, Jeremiah, Lucy, Jonah, Nikita, Jaxon and Jack. She is also survived by her beloved grand dog Sophie.

Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Graveside service and interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton, WV on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Casey House-Montgomery Hospice, 6001 Muncaster Mill Road, Rockville, MD 20855
