Born in Syracuse, NY on October 21, 1943 to Walter and Eleanor Holst, Marcia earned her Associates Degree and worked as a dental hygienist. She married George Tucker in 1972 and they welcomed their daughter Kimberly in 1974. The family moved to Manchester, NH that same year and then to Gaithersburg, MD in 1984.
Marcia was predeceased by her father in 1999 and her mother in 2008.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, George, her loving daughter Kimberly Gould (Alex) of North Potomac, MD, her beloved granddaughter, Kendall, and her cherished grandson, Landon. She will be dearly missed by her family, as well as her feline companions Casey and Toby.
A service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 20, 2023 at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Dr., Gaithersburg, MD 20877. A graveside service will be held immediately following at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd., Olney, MD.
