On Thursday April 6, 2017 at home. Beloved wife of Charles; mother of Eileen, David, and Jocelyn; grandmother of Ariana and Gavin; and surrogate mother to many. Raised in Puerto Rico, she came to the Baltimore/Washington area for college and stayed when her family joined her. She taught piano at her home in the Palisades area until 2013. Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, DC, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. (complimentary valet parking). A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Victory Parish on Wednesday, April 12, at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Relief Services, WETA, Southern Poverty Law Center, and to support the musical arts in schools.
