Peter Paul Price

Peter Price, 75, a 40 year resident of Derwood, MD passed away on April 6, 2023. He was born November 24, 1947 in Hackensack New Jersey to the late Charles and Teresa Price. Pete graduated from St. Peter’s College with his bachelor's degree in Biology. He then went on to Bowman Gray School of Medicine where he received his medical degree in 1973. Pete served for the U.S. Army for over 20 years as an anesthesiologist. He was stationed in various posts including Nurenburg, Germany, Ft. Gordon, Georgia, and finally Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. Outside of his Army career, Pete favorite pastimes included attending games for the Baltimore Orioles and our local minor league teams, traveling to the Outer Banks and Disney World, fishing at the local ponds, and spending time at the movie theaters with Arlene.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Arlene Price; two daughters, Leslie Saunders (Ken Andino) of Sterling, VA and Becca Burger (Matt Burger) of Edgewater, MD; his brothers David Price and Steven Price (Lynn Price). Pete had five grandchildren who he loved dearly: Nathaniel and Natalie Saunders, Ethan, Gretchen, and Maren Burger.

Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Peter’s life with his family on Friday, April 14th, from 10am-12pm at DeVol Funeral Home in Gaithersburg, MD. There will be a graveside memorial at Parklawn Memorial Park and Menorah Gardens immediately following the viewing at 1:00pm.
