Robert Rotz was a man filled with love. He loved life and the people around him.
He loved playing guitar, singing loud and being silly for smiles. He loved puns and dad jokes. He loved nothing more than to make people smile.
He loved fishing, hiking, swimming, and camping. He loved cooking and growing herbs and vegetables in his garden. He loved the Boy Scouts. As a Boy Scout and later on as a Scoutmaster, he embodied the motto "Be Prepared". His skills were unending and well known.
Rob loved stories, telling them and listening to them. He loved playing Dungeons & Dragons, and was an avid skilled dungeon master and role player. Many loved the creativity, ingenuity, and laughter he wove into all his stories and adventures.
Most of all - he loved. He loved his wife, he loved his children, he loved his grandchildren and he loved his sisters - he loved them with all his heart. His love and care extended to many he met along the winding path of his life.
Robert William Rotz loved, and was loved, deeply. That love is reflected by all who shared in his life. He will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.
Please join us for a celebration of the life and loving memories of Robert William Rotz. He was a character! I'm sure we all have stories to tell.
