Stacy Ann McDowall

Stacy Ann McDowall,59,of Germantown, MD, departed this life to be with the Lord on January 3, 2023. Stacy was born in Anchorage, Alaska on November 29, 1963. Her family moved to Maryland in 1970 where she has resided ever since. She attended St. Mary's Elementary School, Rockville High School and Montgomery College.

She worked as a Unit Support Coordinator in Emergency Services at Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, Maryland. Stacy was a proud employee at Shady Grove for the last twenty five years where she developed lifelong friendships with her co workers whom she truly loved liked family. She was a die hard Miami Dolphins fan and loved her Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals. Anyone who knew her, knew that her "Happy Place" was being on a cruise ship. She loved cruising so much that she took classes to become a Cruise Agent Specialist and started her own business booking cruises for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Graham McDowall. She is survived by her mother, Diane B. McDowall, her sister Laurel Powell, brother in law Shawn Powell, niece Megan Brannan (Justin), niece Shannon Powell, nephew Brandon Powell and many beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Wednesday January 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment: Private
