Anastasios Kyriakides

Andy was born May 10, 1926 in Russia to Haralambos and Despina Kyriakides. He lived in Greece before moving to the USA in 1965. Andy lived in Norwalk, Connecticut before moving to Savannah, Georgia in January 2011.

He served in the Greek Army and retired as a Machine Operator. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Norwalk and hobbies included playing the Lyra and gardening.

Andy was preceded in death by his wife Eleni and son George. Survivors include two sons, Harry and Chris Kyriakides; daughter, Debbie Mousakitis all of Savannah, Georgia; grandchildren, Andy Kyriakides, Eleni Goniotakis, Aphrodite Karakasis, Demetrios Sotiropoulos, Eleni Coco, Elena Mousakitis, Giorgio Kyriakides; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at St. Paul’s Greek, with the Trisagion service beginning at 7:00 p.m...

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church with Reverend Father Vasile Mihai officiating. Burial is to follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Georgia.
