Mr. Austin Daniel Sellers

Austin Daniel Sellers went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at his home in Stilson, Georgia. He was born in Barley, Georgia September 24, 1926. He lived in Savannah for several years before moving to Port Wentworth, where he lived for 40 years. He moved to Hodgeville in Effingham County, and then to Stilson for the last 15 months. Mr. Sellers served in the US Navy for 2 years as a Seaman 1st Class. After his discharge he worked at Stone Container as a machinist until he retired in 1988. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mildred Sellers.

Mr. Sellers is survived by his son Ricky (Linda) Sellers of Stilson; sister Wanell (Morgan) Sellers of Columbia, SC; nieces Nell Abston and Patricia Threkill; granddaughters Cheri (Michael) Lance, Bambi (Mark) Miller, and Holli Sellers; and great-grandchildren Dalton and Daniel Lance and Trevor and Aubrey Miller.

Graveside Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2012 at Hillcrest West Cemetery
