Wow.... it seems like yesterday that we lost you. Never does a day go by you are not thought of. Mema i know you are watching down on me being by myside through all of this. So sorry & sad to hear about the loss of your Mother.  She was a very kind woman & blessed to have a huge family that loved her so much.  My prayers are with the family as they mourn her loss.

Some of my fondest memories of Aunt Elma Lee: I remember going to her house and having a egg hunt every Easter, then we would have a huge lunch. I remember she had a pear tree in her yard and she would always tell me to "pick and eat the ones that have already fallen to the ground". Did I listen to her, no, and I would always get a stomach ache because I would pick them from the tree and they were not ready to be eaten. I remember another time I was at her house and she tried talking me into eating deer meat. She tried to make it sound so delicious because it was "BBQ deer meat". There are so many memories I have of her, but the one I love the most was when she and my mom would laugh at me because of a stupid goose, that she had in her yard, that would chase me around the yard. Aunt Elma Lee would tell me to "stop running and it would stop chasing you". Did I listen to her, NO. I kept running. Smart women, I should have listened. Can't wait to see you again.

Elma Lee and I were close friends when we were younger.  I've wondered over the years about her and remembered our good times at church when it was First Baptist Church. I moved back to Georgia in August and was thinking about her just a few days ago.  May God wrap you in his love during your time of grief. An old friend.
