Jackie Gail Chancey

Jackie Gail (Lewis) Chancey, 71, of Savannah, Ga, died on Friday April 3, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Chancey was born in Lynch KY; she was the daughter of the late John R. Lewis and Dorothy (Trusley) Lewis.

Mrs. Chancey was retired from Effingham Hospital. She was a member of Silk Hope Baptist Church.

Her memory will be forever treasured by her loving husband, David Mitchell Chancey of 53 years; daughter, Treena Hardeman (Aaron) of Guyton, GA; son; John David Chancey of Springfield GA; sisters; Debbie Shuler of Savannah GA and Kim Phillips (Mike) of Milledgeville, GA; brother, Larry Lewis (DeVane) of Claxton GA and also, two grandchildren and one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

The family will like to give a thank-you to Hospice Savannah for all their help in this difficult time.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday April 11, 2015 at Silk Hope Baptist Church. There will be a visitation and hour prior to the service. The graveside service will follow immediately after at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery off of Dean Forrest Rd. Pastor Jonathan Phillips will officiate the service. Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory of Garden City, GA are in charge of the arraignments.
