He served his country proudly as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
His is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Clifford and Nora Mae Burton and survived by his son, Clifford (Kimberly) Burton; grandson, Elijah Burton; Brent Davis, who was like a son; and childhood friend, Danny "Dylan" Healan.
A memorial service will be held Monday, April 4, 2011 at 1:00PM at the Georgia Veteran's Cemetery in Glennville, GA.
