

-PORT WENTWORTH- Margaret “Maggie” Knight Wardlaw, 65, of Port Wentworth died Friday, October 24, 2014 at her home under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice and surrounded by her loving family.
Maggie was born in Norfolk, VA. and lived most of her life in Chatham County, GA. She was a House Wife, Mother, Sunday School Teacher, Scout Leader, Band Mom and beloved Nana; she was a member of Living Faith Church of God.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Gray Wardlaw.
Survivors include her son, Brian A. Wardlaw of Byron, GA.; daughter, Marianne M. White of Port Wentworth, GA.; brother, James “Jimmy” Knight (Joy) of Jacksonville, FL.; sister, Dolores K. Camacho (George) of Jacksonville, FL.; two brother-in-laws, Lynn Z. Wardlaw (Judy) of Savannah, GA. And James E. Wardlaw of Columbus, SC.; four grandchildren, Kessie and Khyler Wardlaw, Taylor and Zachary White; several nieces, nephews, other family, friends, The Metts, The Rogers, The Goforth’s, The McIntire’s and many, many others.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in the Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Sean Faircloth officiating.
Burial will be private.
