Brian and Marianne,
I am truly saddened by the loss of your mom.  Maggie was an amazing woman.  She helped so many, in so many ways - especially me (!) as Mandy was growing up with both of you.  Without her during those years I don't think I would have been able to make it.  God Bless you and your families.  You all will always have a special place in my heart!  Love you.

Mom will truly be missed. I remember my last year in the band when we were practicing for the lights out show at the stadium and your mom was back at the band room preparing a surprise birthday party for me and Michelle Bachmann. I had a California raisin with a trombone in the top of my cake. It was the sweetest thing and one if the best cakes I ever had. She was always a sweet woman who lived Christ. I know that her prayers along with others helped lead me to Christ after getting sick my last two weeks of school. I'm glad that I got the chance to not only be friends, but family. May His blessings be with all of you and your family.

So sorry to hear to about your mom's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of your mom. She was always so giving of her time, thoughtful, strong in her faith, and always found humor. She truly touched everyone she met and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to have so many wonderful childhood memories that involved her from girl scouts, to participating at our school functions, or coming up with those "adventureous" trips she would take her troop on. You both are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Brian & Marriane I send my deepest condolences!! I remember Mrs. Wardlaw from Strong Elementary. As I remember your mom was always helping, volunteering & kind. She treated all of us equal & was always helpful. Thanks for sharing her with us. Whenever I hear the name Wardlaw, I think of loving caring people!!! God bless!!!

Mrs. Wardlaw was my spiritual mother she lead me to Jesus Christ. She would go out of her way to take me to church in that ole white bat mobile with no power stering. I would later become a pastor of my own church in Ohio. I give Mrs. Wardlaw credit for a blessed life from scouts to church she was an inspiration to many. Heaven rejoices but we grieve because we'll miss her. Looking forward to seeing her again when we all get to heaven what a great reunion for us all. Love you Mrs. Wardlaw... My love and prayers are with you bro and Marianne. Wish I could be there...

Well I do not know how to start. I am grieving with you all and the world has truly lost a wonderful,caring woman but Heaven has gained a majestic angel. Mrs. Wardlaw was my second mother and I hope she realized how much I loved her and appreciated everything she did for me throughout my life. Marianne and Brian are my family and I love them and will always keep them in my prayers. The memories I had with her will last a lifetime and I am truly blessed to call her family.

So many memories of your Mom flood my mind.   We were expecting our first babies that came just a few days apart.   We were next door neighbors for a long time and friends throughout your school and high school years.
Can't help but smile when I think of all the Halloween Carnivals that we worked at Port Wentworth Elementary School.  Your cuckoo Daddy would use that megaphone ... sometimes about 6 inches from my ear.  Your Mom'd fuss at him but it didn't matter one little bit.   
You both have had such a great school life with BOTH of your parents so totally involved.    Am sending you sincerest sympathy in the loss of both your parents.   You kids have a great heritage.   Stay strong!

Brian and Maryann, I am so sorry for your loss and to hear of Ms. Maggie's passing.  I know she is resting in the loving Savior's arms.  When we came first came to America she took us under her arms, loved us, and made us feel at home.  She always told everyone that I was like a daughter to her and she took me with her shopping and doing other things to help out at church.  I will miss her dearly here on earth but we know we will see her again one day.  My prayers are with you both.

My heart is so sad to hear of your moms passing. I loved your mom from the first day we met forty one years ago when we were neighbors...then friends for life! Your mom taught me so much about how to do just about everything when it came to being a mother! She took me under her wings from the very start! Brian, Marianne I'm very sorry I wasn't there for your mom (my friend) when she became ill....I cant' take that back but I can promise you I will never take such a dear friendship for granted anymore! I really loved your mom and will always remember her as the sweet, loving friend she was <3
